The Richmond Chapter of vaaeyc is the local affiliate of the Virginia Association for the Education of Young Children and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Members include early childhood educators, parents, and others who care about and work to promote the healthy development of young children.
The Richmond Chapter of vaaeyc provides education and resources to families, early childhood educators and the Greater Richmond community on behalf of young children. Richmond hosts training events, director networking events and Week of the Young Child events during the course of the year. Richmond produces a newsletter twice a year about what is going on in and around the Richmond area in regards to Early Childhood Education.
