Tuning In to the Power of Music & Early Literacy Skills

Presented by: Mary Anderson, My Music Starts Here
Understand why using high-quality music learning experiences in your classroom is a powerful tool to support your students’ early literacy skill development. Learn simple and playful ways to integrate songs, fingerplays, and movement into your daily classroom routine to enhance and support fluency, phonemic awareness, language development, rhyming words, and sequence in storytelling, as well as fine and gross motor skills – everything your students will need when they start learning to read! Leave with a toolbox full of songs, poems, fingerplays, and movement activities to start using right away.
